In the inaugural edition of Breaking The Silence, the outstanding achievements of three promising filmmakers—Monon, Fatiha, and Monisha—captivated an independent jury panel, earning them recognition for their exceptional films. Notably, Sultanas Dream played a pivotal role in this success story by generously providing a substantial production grant, along with invaluable mentorship and post-production support.

Sultana’s Dream helped me achieve a long cherished dream, making my directorial debut. It was a one of a kind film workshop, where we learned about feminist principles in regards to filmmaking, along with the usual logistical training. I am very fortunate to have been one of the first female filmmakers in the country to have gone through this rigorous process.
